'Hustle Muscle' was present at Fergus Falls giving GNRHS members a chance to operate the engine. She was also in charge of the convention train on the former Great Northern line from Fergus Falls, MN to Fargo, ND, now operated by the Red River Valley & Western Railroad.

At the 2001 convention 'Hustle Muscle' teamed up with MILW 4-8-4 #261 on a grand 400 mile excursion from Minneapolis to Duluth (Carlton) to Staples and back to Minneapolis.
