Many GNRHS convention-goers arrived by train on Amtrak's Empire Builder.  At the ex-Great Northern Havre depot, visitors are greeted by an S-2 class 4-8-4 steam locomotive on display.

Also greeting travelers to Havre is this full statue of James J. Hill outside the depot.
