GN 3 Room Section House
The Great Northern Railway Historical Society along with the Skykomish Historical Society are proud to introduce the HO-scale Great Northern Standard 3 Room Section House laser kit.
The Great Northern Standard Three Room Section House served as a bunk house for section workers. This structure was found throughout the Great Northern and would make a fine addition to any GN model railroad.
The Great Northern Standard Three-Room Section House was designed as a bunkhouse for GN section workers. Ubiquitous along the line it was built on-site by the B&B crews and measured 16 x 24 feet. There were many variations and details changed from place to place. Different window placement, door placement and ramshackle porches have been observed.
Laser-Cut Multimedia Kit with Cast Resin and Tichy Detail parts.
This kit includes parts for multiple versions including the house that sat in Skykomish, Washington. It has a footprint of 2.2" x 3.3" and can be built with or without porch.
Great Northern Railway blueprints and photographs of the Skykomish house were used to design the kit.
